Does this mean us Aussies will receive the bar bones edition as well? I hope not.

Why Do the english only get the bare bones edition? I am a fan of Cussler's books and the original, more extensive story can only be seen in the US. Having seen the DVD today, I think the most essential plot elements, i.e. links to president Lincoln etc are essential, and without them the plot seems weaker than written. Come on Paramount, give the UK viewers some slack!
