DVD Review: Oz Season 4

Oz Season four is an absolute embarrassment to anyone who loves the show.In previous seasons you could always forgive the ridiculous plot holes beacuse the show was fresh and there was always the underlying comedy. This season is just one huge excercise in bad writing. Horrible stories, horrible characters, tired ideas, humorless drivel.This season is a huge disappointment.

That's the great thing about a review, it is an opinion and lets face it, everyone has one. Great, bad, indifferent, I am just glad you took the time to respond and lets see if we agree to disagree when Season 5 comes out.

I think Oz is an all around good show and the bad plots can be forgiven beucase that actors are terrific. I feel the pain, i get just as angry at schillinger, the actors for oz really come through. thats what makes a good show, even if the writing isnt award winning.
By the way, i think the writers did a fine job.

i think all of the seasons of oz were great,alot of people think the show sucked after adabesi left,but there were many new inmates like omar white who was funny too,and numerous others.all shows have ups and downs,look at the sopranos season 3 and 4 were okay,but 1,2,and 5 were the best.i love oz all the way you guyz have to ease up on one of the greatest tv shows on tv,thats what hbo is about making the best shows w/no commercials.check out the wire, and the corner, there also great shows.but in my opinion oz is the best.
