What is better than watching Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow in one of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies? Why watching Johnny Depp in all three movies, one right after the other and in Blu ray.
Disney has released all three films in a single set to celebrate the arrival of the fourth Pirates movie. This is treasure you won’t want to miss!
The first Pirates of the Caribbean movie “The Curse of the Black Pearl” took adult audiences by surprise. Many had accompanied their children to view the film, expecting only an elongated version of the popular theme park ride, but were delighted with an entertaining eye-popping adventure.

Both the second and the third films delivered the same level of excitement and fun, and so grownups and children alike have been eagerly awaiting the next chapter in the adventures.
If you don’t own the films on Blu-ray, you can take advantage of this chance to add a fine set to your family collection. Each film is presented in a plastic keeper case and in two disc format, the film on one disc and numerous specials and bonuses on the second.
To make the package even more attractive there is a bonus 7th disc which has a sneak peek at the new film as well as newly released deleted scenes from the previous three movies. Now who could resist a treasure chest like this?
Real life work and hours and home chores sometimes prevent us from watching what we would like, so it had been awhile since we’d visited Captain Jack (Johnny Depp) Elizabeth Swan (Keira Knightley) and Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) on their pirate excursions.
In the Blu-ray format, the beautiful films become even more stunning, and we were captured one again by the humor, the adventure, the fun and the fantasy of setting sail in the Caribbean.
From the haunting opening scene of mist-shrouded sea and the child Elizabeth’s ethereal voice singing the well-known pirate’s song, to the final scenes of “At the World’s End” where decisions are made, the adventures are fast and furious, and the outcome uncertain. It is almost with a sigh of relief that we learn a fourth movie is to be…..and what better way to prepare for it than to watch the first three with all the specials.

Disney Pirates of the Caribbean 7-disc Trilogy Blu-ray Collection is handsomely packaged and presented, two discs for each film and the above mentioned 7th bonus disc of specials.
Curse of the Black Pearl Disc one offers the film in Disney enhanced high definition play mode and in two versions, one as seen theatrically , and the other with the interactive “Scoundrels of the Sea.” Disc two contains specials “An Epic At Sea” the making of Pirates, “Fly on the Set” featurettes, bloopers and deleted or alternate scenes, an interactive history of pirates “Below Deck.”
The second film “Dead Man’s Chest” has the film in blu ray Disney high definition picture and sound, and can be viewed with an interactive game “Liar’s Dice” in which the audience deals with pirates from the film. Disc two has specials “Captain Jack from head to toe” secrets and legends revealed by Johnny Depp, “Meet Davy Jones” see how this legend of the ghostly sea is brought to film and “Mastering the Blade” which takes a look at swordfighting in the film.
