One Tree Hill’s sixth season is now on DVD, and as this is the last season for show veterans Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton, fans will definitely want to add this set to their collections.
Season Six opens with a steamy stew of plots and misadventures. Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) proposes to Peyton (Hilarie Burton) and they are about to rush off to Vegas for a wedding. Victoria (Daphne Zuniga) has returned and is trying to take over Brooke’s company, and Brooke (Sophia Bush) is attacked.
Mouth (Lee Norris) has been offered a job far far away, and possibly without Millicent (Lisa Goldstein). Dan (Paul Johansson) is in a strange hospital with former nanny Carrie (Torrey DeVitto) as his “nurse” and bent on revenge. And this is just Part 1 of the season opener!! One can tell that it is going to be an exciting year.
Following the tradition of naming episodes after songs, and guest starring musicians One Tree Hill keeps its audience enthralled. During the course of Season Six, viewers will see Lucas’s novel turned into a movie adaptation by Peyton’s former boyfriend Julian (Austin Nichols), his book tour for the next novel come crashing down as no one but Mouth shows up for the signing, Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) and Nathan (James Lafferty) try to sort out their lives as Nathan may have a pro-ball offer, and Jamie goes to school.
Viewers will learn more about biological parents, and adoptive parents or parent wanna be’s as the characters try to make romantic attachments and keep them. Peyton becomes pregnant, but has a condition that might kill her and the newborn, which causes some serious moments for Lucas.
There is a USO concert at Trics that sparks a dream for Lucas set in the 1940’s and has the characters in stereotyped roles of a film noir. In the end things are resolved, romances settled, and patterns set after unbelievable complications and tribulations, and once again the season draws to a close.
