Russell T Davies delivered his epic adventure called 'Children of Earth' or as I prefer to remember it by 'how to kill a tv series in 5 easy episodes'. For the fans who have watched and supported the previous two series this is a poor offering. The plot has massive holes that you can drive the Torchwood suv through. In my opinion Mr. Davies was tired of the show, planning for his move to Hollywood and has taken such short cuts that I can't see how the show can continue. Well, he may not miss me as a viewer of his future work, but neither will I miss him 'creative endeavours' such as they may be.
there r no words to describe this miniseries, oh yes wait, BRILLIANT, OUTSTANDING, FABULOUS.i LOVED this show i was hooked from the first episode till the last one(which was by far the best one of them 5). ive been a fan of torchwood for a long time now, and they have riched the highest standard on television, it was pure genius, dont want to spoil anything, but the reason why the alien came was so original and smart that only one of the most amazing screenwriters of all time could think about it, i aspire to be as good as him in the future. the only thing im sad about is probably the fact that almost the entire cast has been killed off and it felt like a series finale, and an amazing one, but i would have liked to see a normal third season of 13 episodes with ianto if possible, and do not ask myself now if the show is and should come back. anyway, unbelievable writing, marvelous acting, great visual effects, loved every second of it.knock out brilliant.
In this new series, re-join Captain Jack, Gwen Cooper and Ianto Jones, who are still coming to terms with the death of two of their closest friends, Tosh and Owen. ...more
