It\'s time to celebrate as Disney\'s phenomenal High School Musical hits new heights in High School Musical 3: Senior Year! Fresh from the big screen, this motion picture extravaganza delivers non-stop entertainment from start to finish! It\'s almost graduation day for high school seniors Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, Chad, Ryan and Taylor - and the thought of heading off in separate directions after leaving East High has these Wildcats thinking they ...more
Our friends at East High have reached their senior year, and time seems to be moving too fast. Troy and Gabriella are dealing with the idea that they will be going to schools a thousand miles apart as they pursue their academic careers.
One last game with the Wildcat team, and one final production for the drama club stave off the change for just a little bit longer, and then Prom Night and Graduation inevitably arrive.
Can it really be Senior year? And the end of Senior Year at that! For Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, Chad, Ryan and Taylor the days at East High are drawing to a close. They decide that one last memorable team activity is needed, and this turns out to be the Spring Musical.
The drama teacher wants the students to write the musical about themselves, about who they are now, and what they want for the future. For the first time representatives of Julliard School of Music will attend and offer a scholarship to one of four lucky candidates.
No surprise that Ryan and Sharpay are two of the four, but Troy has been nominated as well. He has planned to go on to U of A, his Dad’s alma mater and play basketball. Will the musical change his plans? What other hopes and dreams will be affected by the musical and its outcome? Join Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu and Monique Coleman in their last adventures at East High.
There is still time to enjoy each other’s company, and to make music. There is also time for some tricks and jokes that will make audiences laugh. These kids may be growing up, but they still are young enough to enjoy the good times. There are also those who have ulterior motives and will try to work things around so they get the notice and fame they so desperately desire.
With music and dance scenes that mirror the emotions and activities of Senior High daily life, High School Musical 3 is another winner in the beloved film series. The talented group of young actors and actresses bring their multi skilled portrayals together in a joyous energetic performance. It appears they had as much fun making the movie as audiences will have watching it.
The extended DVD version of High School 3 Senior Year is presented on 2 discs which includes a digital version and the code to unlock it for downloading. The film is presented in an extended version with additional scenes and a selection of special features.
There are the deleted scenes from the film, introduced by Director Kenny Ortega. A very funny bloopers selection gives fans even more laughs with the cast. Night of Nights is a Prom Scene tell all with cast members, and Its all in the Dress, features the ladies of East High and their opinions about fashion and Prom Dresses.
The sing along feature offers viewers the chance to get in on the fun of singing with any or all of the musical numbers. And finally we come to the Cast Goodbyes, where each cast member speaks to what this experience has meant in his or her life.
It is hard to say goodbye, but we remember with the East High kids, “we are all in this together” in life, and “once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat.”
