Most Americans have a shelf full of workout tapes and DVDs gathering dust. They looked good in the store, or on that infomercial, or your best friend lost fifty pounds doing them, but after a few sessions, you became bored with the instruction and the tapes were put away.

This is a really, really fun workout! You don’t need a partner, you can learn the steps to the dances, so that if you need them, you have them, but you can do the workout alone.
The choice is available for verbal instruction or simply with music accompaniment, once you’ve learned the techniques. It is a dream of an exercise program with Cheryl and Maxim guiding you to perform the steps correctly and achieve not only your best coordination of movements, but beneficial side effects of weight reduction and body toning.
The program begins with a warm up to move all the muscle groups that you are going to use, stretching and warming them before stressing them with the routines. From the warm up you move into the steps of the meringue, the cha-cha, the sambo and the mamba. If your fitness level is higher, there is also included a dancer’s toning workout to add to the rest of the workout.
Or you may prefer to do it as your main workout after warming up and before dancing. According to Maxim it is the routine that they have their partners do to maximize the tone of their bodies and strengthen them for the dances.
We’ve all seen the results of body toning from the stars on Dancing. Isn’t it great that ordinary people like us have the opportunity to learn and achieve a level of fitness and skill we have only dreamt about?
This is the perfect way to learn the steps to the dances, and benefit from their use of muscle groups to tone and shape up. It is most enjoyable to be taught by familiar faces, Cheryl and Maxim, and to see the others in the group assembled to participate. Not everyone does the steps exactly alike, and yet they are the same in basic form.
It is like the art of dancing itself, an individual expression, but there is a correct way to perform the movements and Cheryl and Maxim make excellent teachers. Starting slowly, they build you up to more advanced moves, and faster pace.
The individual may judge how quickly to perform the movements, and yet stay in synch with the instructors. Best of all by the time you finish the dance, you feel the burn.
Dancing With the Stars Latin Cardio Dance is presented on single disc with a running time of 60 minutes. Each segment is structured so that the viewer can do a warm up and a dance routine, or put them all together.
There is a custom feature in the special features that allows the viewer to build a custom dance workout.
