Take a trip to the steamy side of suburbia as the acclaimed hit DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES is hotter hipper and even more exciting in its sizzling fourth season. Many are addicted to a weekly visit with the ladies of Wisteria Lane, to learn all the dirt that can be dished up in a small community, and see the incredible amount of action that takes place in a supposedly quiet neighborhood.
If you have been checking in on Susan, Bree, Lynette, Gabrielle and Edie you will know that not even a writer’s strike made a dent in their stories.

Ever noticed when someone mentions Desperate Housewives, people will say “oh I don’t watch that show” but somehow they can tell you the whole storyline from the beginning?
More than likely at the place where you work there have been entire lunch hours devoted to discussions of who is sexier, meaner, more self-serving or more self-sacrificing, and depending on who is doing the talking, the character choice will be different.
Perhaps most intriguing are the coffee break minutes where we try to guess the secrets and mysteries of these totally enthralling characters, before heading back to the piles of real world work that stack our desks.
Human beings have always loved a good story, to talk over with each other, to think about in terms of how we would have handled the scenario, or just to be diverted and entertained. Do we want to be these characters? In a word, no, but it sure is fun to see their adventures and discuss them.
Season Four of Desperate Housewives was a success in spite of the writer’s strike that forced a multi-month hiatus. Fans were just as eager to see what would happen when the show did return, and they were not disappointed.
Drug addiction, love triangles, adolescent angst and cancer are all featured in this season’s episodes, with new characters who had their own mysteries to add to the mix. Simply put, Season Four had a lot of excitement.
Susan (Terri Hatcher) and Mike (James Denton) had a rough year, as did Lynette (Felicity Huffman). Gabrielle (Eva Longoria Parker) just couldn’t make up her mind, and Edie (Nicollette Sheridan) was not going to give up anything she considered hers. And Bree (Marcia Cross) well, you will just have to see for yourself.
Desperate Housewives Sizzling Secrets Edition is presented on 5 discs cased in brilliant packaging. A plastic sleeve removes the blue dresses, and shows the ladies really sizzling in gold lame attire.
Included in the box is a collectable booklet Fairview Realty. There are photos and ads that will be priceless to fans.
Bonus features include deleted scenes from the series, bloopers, a Couples commentary which examines the personalities of viewer’s favorite couples, and Getting Desperate from beginning to End, which takes the viewer inside an episode of Desperate Housewives, to see how it is made from the very beginning to the wrap.
The episodes are presented in widescreen format, and the playing time runs about 722 minutes.

With tragedy, joy, love, hate, families, outsiders, mysteries, secrets, and Nathan Fillion as Dr. Adam Mayfair, what could be more entertaining?
