I disagree with this review. I thought this movie was extremely good and kept you hooked from start to finish. They made massive changes from the novel’s story, but most of those changes work better in the film.
Jena Malone was annoying in the movie, but her character was supposed to be that annoying – she is worse in the book. I thought the book had a better ending, but this film managed to keep the same tone and suspense of the novel.
