the ending did not satisfy me, so i am looking for an explanation. you called it a 'european ending'; never heard that term before, what is that exactly?
Seems Mr Rossi and Stanek have made use of some obvious friendships? There can be no other excuse for this dreadful movie.
Stereotypical Vinnie and other major actors undermined their past success. Kilmer's brief appearance had some substance but I was saddened to see the fall of Byrne and Bergin, each of whom have had some notable past success.
This is not The Usual Suspects, or Snatch, but a poor imitation of the gangster genre. Mr Rossi is as convincing a bad guy as a runny creme brulet in a third rate restaurant.
If Stanek wants to be Guy Richie or tread the toes of Tarantino, then this is far from an auspicious start. I doubt we'll see more from him on this showing and Rossi needs to try a damn sight harder than this. He is never going to reproduce the Damon/Affleck self success with this crap.
