Pop Star Profile gathers together the Jake Ryan episode onto one disc, but fans might’ve preferred the whole season. The show is a bit over the top but fans will be happy to see the episodes and bonus features.

Not only is Jake Ryan (Cody Linley) a hottie, he's also a famous actor and the star of his own TV series. While Miley tries to keep her superstar identity (and her secret crush) under wraps at school, Hannah winds up guest starring on his show - with an on-screen kiss! As usual, her friends and family come to the rescue, but not before she makes her way through all sorts of hilarious adventures and learns not to judge people - especially celebrity-type people - by appearances alone. Y'all are gonna love being insiders in Hannah Montana's rockin' world!”Episode Synopsis:New Kid in School: TV star Jake Ryan (Cody Linley) starts attending Miley’s school and everyone is impressed, except Miley that is. More than a Zombie to Me: Hannah Montana has a guest appearance on Jake Ryan’s TV show and she learns that he has a crush on a girl – a girl named Miley. Good Golly Miss Dolly: Miley’s godmother Dolly (Dolly Parton) is visiting and she confesses her crush on Jake, but Dolly accidentally videotapes it and the tape falls into Jakes hands. Now Miley has to stop him from watching it. People who use People: Miley sees Jake with another girl and she attempts to make him jealous by going out with another guy. The collection of episodes on this release concentrates on the Jake Ryan storyline. Hannah Montana is another in the line of popular tween shows that air on Disney Channel. Miley Cyrus is Billy Ray Cyrus’ daughter and she stars as a regular girl whose alter ego is a pop superstar. Billy Ray also stars as her dad in the show. Miley wants to keep her superstar identity under wraps so that she can live a normal life and attend school, etc. just like the other kids. Unfortunately this leads to all sorts of hijinks as that secret identity is always under threat of being revealed. The acting is typical of the shows that air on the channel – extremely over the top. Pop Star Profile is presented in fullscreen as the episodes were originally aired on television. Special features include the 3 minute “Nobody’s Perfect” music video. There’s also the 5 minute “The Real Miley Cyrus” which interviews Miley, her family, and her co-stars about the show. It’s probably disappointing to fans that they’ve been dribbling out episodes instead of releasing season sets. The show is cute, but you’re going to have to be of a certain age limit to appreciate it. Hannah Montana - Pop Star Profile is now available at Amazon. Hannah Montannah rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Her music is awesome! Her clothes are awesome!Her show is awesome! SHE IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!! (i just hope she doesn't turn out like britney spears)
