I loved Superman Returns, I thought the movie was very well done. I have to give a big thumbs down on the DVD though. The video quality is just atrocious, especially for a banner project. Dark, low contrast, mosquito noise, halos, blockiness, you name the flaw its on this DVD (This applies to the HD-DVD version too). I hate to stick it to Warners some more, since they didn't get a big take for this film at the Box Office, but DO NOT BUY this DVD. Wait till they produce a DVD with a proper transfer.

Would you say that the transfer is the reason Superman looks so bad when he is on screen doing his super thing?

Super man returns sucked to high HEAVEN !! First of all the guy they got is a jewish dude. He should have been called Sheenie Man. the Movie was too darkly lit. The computer effects were too obvious that it was CGI. There were no broad daylight scenes. The movie had no color it was drab IF they make a new film ( I hope they don't at this point ) They should take a lesson from the original Super man the movie and observe the colors of the film to brighten things up a bit. Get a new Super man again cause that Routh guy looked like a village people guy. If this movie was supposed to be right after the events of # 2 why was'nt the kid like 27 years old and Lois about 50.
Alot can be said about continuity. Get ready for Suckie-Sheenie man 2
coming to a commie pinko liberal twit homoerotic theatre near you !!!
