There appears to be some BL Series Two customers who have found Disc 7 to be defective. Episode 27 and one of the Special Features do not play because of severe pixel/noise. This DVD release may need a recall from Fox.

I personally screened three sets from two different retailers...and all have defective Disc 7's. Exchanges from Amazon exhibit the same troubles each time.

I just got the Boston Legal Season Two DVDs and I have a defective Disc 7 also. About 2/3 of the episode 'Squid Pro Quo' is corrupted (heavy pixellation and garbled audio) and the entire episode 'BL: Los Angeles' has the same defects. I didn't check the special features section.

I bought my set of season 2 from Amazon and discovered the same Disc 7 defect which makes 'Squid Pro Quo' and 'Exhibit A: The Look at Boston Legal' unplayable. Since people who return the set to Amazon will likely get a defective Disc 7 in the replacement shipment, I would like to know what Fox will do about Disc 7. Don't these people have a quality control department?

Since so many people have brought this up in talkback, I am going to contact our Fox person to see if she says anything about it. Will get back to you, if she replies.

I couldn't wait to get season 2, and now I am extremely annoyed to find the last disc doesn't work properly. How long do you think it will take them to address this problem?

Wow, on the last disc. Horrible. On both my original and replacement copies from Amazon.

I got Season Two after New Years at Barnes and Nobel and the pausing problems started in episode four on disc one. Disc 2 started out with pausing problems as well. Though aware of the problems, B&N didn't warn me, and when I returned the set, their manager treated me like a liar. I love the show and am frustrated because I need to see them in order. Hope the new set works...

I received the set for Christmas and have just gotten to disk 7. I am having the same problem with Squid Pro Quo and Exhibit A. This is clearly a manufacturing problem. Has anyone heard anything from Fox?
