This two disc set has all 13 episodes from season two of the series.

However, the Titans’ old nemesis Slade (Ron Perlman) also has plans for Terra.

Teen Titans continue another season and also continue to use the Super D (or deformed) style of animation where characters are exaggerated at times. I enjoyed the Terra storyline, but have to admit that what eventually happens to her character was pretty much telegraphed from the beginning.
Maybe I’ve just watched too many of these types of movies or read too many comic storylines. Where this season lets down is in the special features department. It seems that Warner believes in putting a decent amount of special features on the first season and not putting much effort into season twos (see special features below).
The Super D animation continues in season two
Teen Titans is presented in fullscreen as it was originally shown on television. Special features include the 4 minute “Catching up with…Teen Titans: Inside Season 2” which is basically a series of clips from season one. There are also trailers for other Warner animation DVDs.
Teen Titans stays on par with Season One and if you enjoyed that season then you will enjoy this one. They do try and inject a new Titan and it adds some excitement to this season. Where the DVD package lets down is in the special features department since Season One had more substantial ones. However, the low price point makes it an easy purchase for fans of the show.
Teen Titans - The Complete Second Season is now available at Amazon . As of yet, there is not a release date for the UK. Visit the DVD database for more information.
