The world’s most famous private investigator returns with hilarious antics and an all star cast when MGM Home Entertainment and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment release The Pink Panther on DVD and for PSP June 13 for the suggested retail price of 28.95.

In this modern remake of a beloved classic, Steve Martin (Bowfinger, Cheaper by the Dozen) re-invents the role of Inspector Clouseau, a man with limited deductive powers, a frightening command of the English language and a downright dangerous investigative approach.  Also starring Oscar-winner Kevin Kline (A Fish Called Wanda, In & Out), singing superstar Beyonce Knowles (Austin Powers: Goldmember), Jean Reno (Sony’s upcoming Da Vinci Code, The Professional) and Jason Statham (Snatch, Transporter), this hysterical film directed by Shawn Levy (Cheaper By the Dozen) is a must-own comedy for the whole family.

A world-famous soccer coach has been murdered and his priceless, legendary ring with the stunning diamond known as the “Pink Panther” has been stolen.  The Pink Panther follows bumbling Inspector Clouseau (Martin) as he tries to solve the crime and recover the gem.  One by one, Clouseau narrows his search and tracks down the most likely suspects. They include a stunning pop star (Knowles), a spurned soccer player, a millionaire casino owner and a flirtatious publicist.  Clouseau and his partner, Ponton (Reno), must unmask the murderer and keep their boss, Dreyfus (Kline), from taking credit for the victory, all without bringing the French legal system to a screeching halt.

An instant hit, The Pink Panther pounced to the top of the box office opening weekend, delivering more than $20 million as the #1 film.  Co-written by Steve Martin (Shopgirl, Bowfinger) and Len Blum (Private Parts, Stripes) and produced by Robert Simonds (Herbie: Fully Loaded, Taxi), The Pink Panther will be available in widescreen presentation and is loaded with “Pinktacular” special features.

The features include:
