Coming to DVD on 26th September 2005 from Metrodome is the single most anticipated Transformers DVD collection ever the four-disc boxed set TRANSFORMERS THE TAKARA COLLECTION VOLUME 1 HEADMASTERS. This exclusive release marks the first time this legendary, much sought after but little seen 35-episode series has ever been officially released in its entirety in the West and features the show's original Japanese language version with newly commissioned remastered English subtitles, new artwork and a special collector's booklet on The Takara Collection. Amounting to almost 13 hours' worth of animated robot action, TRANSFORMERS: HEADMASTERS represents the must-have Holy Grail of DVD releases for many Transformers fans. Further volumes in The Takara Collection, VOLUME 2 MASTERFORCE and VOLUME 3 VICTORY, will be released in 2006.
Disregarding the American-produced, three-episode fourth series of "Transformers" ("The Rebirth"), the uniquely Japanese TRANSFORMERS: HEADMASTERS follows on from the show's third season (known as "Transformers 2010"), updating the action to 2011.

Having decided to take control of the Sigma computer that will finally lead them to victory, the evil Decepticons, led by Galvatron, launch a vicious attack on Cybertron. As the Autobots fight back a mysterious ship appears. On board the ship are the Headmasters, a race of human-sized robots who, millions of years ago, left Cybertron for the planet Master. Now, headed by their leader Fortress, the Headmasters have returned to join the Cybertron-Destron war. But will these newcomers choose to fight on the side of good or evil? The four-disc boxed set TRANSFORMERS THE TAKARA COLLECTION VOLUME 1 HEADMASTERS (cert. PG) featuring all 35 episodes of the series will be released on DVD (£29.99) by Metrodome on 26th September 2005. Special Features include dual language format (US dub and original Japanese with optional remastered English subtitles), audio commentary (episodes 1-3) by Transformers fan and expert Chris McFeeley and episode scripts (DVD ROM content).

What was the Film called where they went back in time to where Optimus Prime was called Orion Pax, at the golden age of cybertron etc.

The name of that episode was War dawn when the arialbots were transported t cybertrons distant past ect....
