“THE RING TWO” REAPPEARS ON 29TH AUGUST WITH THE
DVD RELEASE OFFERING UP MORE SCARES THAN EVER BEFORE WITH SENSATIONALLY CHILLING EXTRAS NOT SHOWN IN THEATRES THAT CONSOLIDATE THE SKILLS OF A JAPANESE HORROR MASTER

Academy Award®-nominated  actress NAOMI WATTS (upcoming King Kong) leads an all-star cast including David Dorfman (The Ring), Simon Baker (LA Confidential, Land of the Dead), Elizabeth Perkins (upcoming Must Love Dogs) and Oscar® winner Sissy Spacek (In The Bedroomi) in  DreamWorks’ “THE RING TWO”, the sequel to 2002’s horror hit “The Ring”.  HIDEO NAKATA, who made “Ringu”, the original Japanese blockbuster on which “The Ring” was based, has directed “THE RING TWO”.  Six-times Oscar®-winning  special makeup effects designer RICK BAKER also returns to the franchise.

The story picks up six months after the horrifying events that terrorised Rachel Keller and her son Aidan in Seattle.  To escape her haunting memories, Rachel takes Aidan and moves to the small coastal community of Astoria, Oregon, to start afresh.  However, Rachel’s resolve turns to dread when evidence at a local crime scene – including an unmarked videotape – seems eerily familiar.  Realising that she is the focus of Samara’s return, Rachel must herself purge this relentless cycle of terror and death.

Following its worldwide box office success, The Ring Two DVD takes audiences beyond the movie experience, featuring the theatrical version of the film plus exclusive bonus features including deleted and alternate scenes, in-depth behind-the-scenes featurettes, interviews with cast and crew about the eery incidents during filming and a unique feature exclusive to those brave enough to revisit Samara’s realm...

The DVD also features Rings, the chilling original short film that tracks the underground journey of the videotape from The Ring to The Ring Two and the thrill-seeking teens who seek to unravel its mysteries.

Coinciding with the release of The Ring Two, DreamWorks are also releasing a Box Set comprising of The Ring Collector’s Edition  and The Ring Two.

The Ring Two will be available to own on DVD (£19.99) and on VHS (£15.99) on Monday 29th August. The Box Set released on the same day will be £29.99.
