Saddened animal loverFeb 19th, 2007 - 22:48:08
I find it offensive and disturbing that the Kim Ki-Duk blew off the question about a real animal being skinned as if to say: 'so? who cares' and just because Americans eat meat (and not all do, by the way) there are laws in place to lessen the stress that a farm-raised animal experiences, so that a minimum of decent treatment is assured, although admittedly, these laws are not enforced well. So, yes there are meat-eaters, but most people here in America DO care about the slaughter of animals they eat.
