A critically acclaimed cast star in this captivating tale inspired by the life of J.M. Barrie, the author of the original children’s classic “Peter Pan”.  Set in London in 1904, the film is a fictional account of Barrie’s inspiration and creation of his most famous of plays about the boy who never grows up.

Inspired after befriending a local family, Finding Neverland brings to life the main themes associated with the original J.M. Barrie play.  Viewers are treated to an emotional and visual feast that explores the wonder of imagination, the nostalgia for childhood innocence and the longing to believe in something more enchanting than everyday life compelling you to watch this DVD over and over again.

Directed by Marc Forster and featuring an outstanding critically acclaimed cast, Finding Neverland stars Johnny Depp, Kate Winslet, Dustin Hoffman and Julie Christie and charts the unique, real-life friendship between J.M. Barrie and the Llewelyn Davies family.  When Scottish playwright J.M. Barrie (Depp) sees his latest play open to an indifferent reaction among the polite society audience of Edwardian England, he is in need of serious inspiration for his next offering.

Unexpectedly, he encounters this one day whilst walking his dog in Kensington Gardens in the form of the beautiful, recently widowed Sylvia Llewelyn Davies (Winslet) and her four young boys.  They become close friends and soon become inseparable seeking adventure and companionship together.

Finding Neverland revels in its cast of old and new talent who play their characters with genuine sentiment and imagination.  It also unites Johnny Depp and Freddy Highmore for the first time on the silver screen where they make an unbeatable duo.  The same can also be said for Oscar and BAFTA nominee Johnny Depp and BAFTA nominee Kate Winslet who display a charming chemistry in their portrayal of the great companions J.M. Barrie and Sylvia Llewelyn Davies.
