Some time ago in April 2012, Karrang Magazine reported on a film titled "Mission to Lars."
The film documents Metallica fan Tom Spicer's attempts to meet his hero, Lars Ulrich.
It enjoyed a short cinematic run last year and will now be available to own on DVD in April.

Tom suffers from Fragile X Syndrome - "a kind of autism with bells on", his sister Kate told Karrang last year - making his mission all the more improbable. The 80-minute documentary follows the family as they attempt to overcome Tom's condition and a near impenetrable level of security surrounding the band.
When it was release last year the film proved very popular and was highly rated by Karrang, who strongly endorse the pending DVD release as a must have for fans of the band.
