Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark brings the scares in January

Presented by horror master Guillermo Del Toro, Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark brings the scares to DVD and Blu-ray on January 3rd from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
Directed by Troy Nixey from a screenplay by Del Toro and Matthew Robbins and the teleplay by Nigel McKeand, Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark was produced by Mark Johnson and Del Toro. The film stars Katie Holmes, Guy Pearce, Bailee Madison, and Jack Thompson.
Synopsis: Sally, a young girl, moves to Rhode Island to live with her father and his new girlfriend in the 19th century mansion they are restoring. While exploring the house, Sally starts to hear voices coming from creatures in the basement whose hidden agenda is to claim her as one of their own.
