The Smurfs are set to arrive on Blu-ray 3D, DVD, digital, and a limited edition 3-Disc Holiday Gift Set on Friday, Dec. 2nd from Sony Home Entertainment.

Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs™ must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.

Directed by Raja Gosnell (Scooby Doo) and starring Neil Patrick Harris (“How I Met Your Mother”), Jayma Mays (“Glee”), Sofia Vergara (“Modern Family”), and Hank Azaria (“The Simpsons”) as Gargamel, the film features the smurf-ect voices of singing sensation Katy Perry as Smurfette, George Lopez (Rio) as Grouchy and Jonathan Winters (The Flinstones) as the original Papa Smurf. 

The Smurfs: A Christmas Carol DVD is an all-new mini-movie, exclusive to the 3-Disc Holiday Gift Set and starring the Smurfs. Based on the timeless holiday classic, The Smurfs: A Christmas Carol is available for a limited time only.

The Smurfs will be among the first titles to offer UltraViolet so owners of the Blu-ray will be able to add The Smurfs to their free cloud-based UltraViolet Digital Accounts, enabling them to stream or download the film most anywhere they can access the Internet!
