Cyborg super-cop Robocop is set to get an upgrade as the Robocop Trilogy blasts to Blu-ray as a collector’s set on October 5th from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment and M&C’s giving away two copies! The collection includes the original Robocop on Blu-ray as well as the Blu-ray debut for Robocop 2 and Robocop 3.
Directors Paul Verhoeven (Totall Recall, Basic Instinct) of Robocop, Irvin Kershner of Robocop 2 and Fred Dekker (Monster Squad Forever, Nighs of the Creeps) of Robocop 3 bring the half robot, half police officer to life with the help of an intensely talented cast, including Peter Weller (The Order; 24), Robert Burke (Good Night, and Good Luck; Tombstone), Kurtwood Smith (Rambo III; That 70’s Show) and Nancy Allen (Law and Order, Carrie).
Robocop synopsis: There's a new law enforcer in town and he's half man, half machine! From the director of Total Recall and Basic Instinct comes a "sci-fi fantasy with sleek, high-powered drive" (Time) about an indestructible high-tech policeman who dishes out justice at every turn!
When a good cop (Peter Weller) gets blown away by some ruthless criminals, innovative scientists and doctors are able to piece him back together as an unstoppable crime-fighting cyborg called "Robocop."
Impervious to bullets and bombs, and equipped with high-tech weaponry, Robocop quickly makes a name for himself by cleaning up the crime-ridden streets of violence-ravaged Detroit.
Robocop 2 synopsis: When Detroit's descent into chaos is further compounded by a police department strike and a new designer drug called Nuke, only Robocop can stop the mayhem.
But in his way are an evil corporation that profits from Motor City crime and a bigger and tougher cyborg with a deadly directive: Take out Robocop.
Containing the latest in gadgetry and weaponry as well as the brain of the madman who designed Nuke, this new cyborg isn't just more sophisticated than his predecessor...he's psychotic and out of control!
And it's going to take everything Robocop has- maybe even his life-to save Detroit from complete and utter anarchy.
Robocop 3 synopsis: It's Megacop vs. Megacop when Detroit's cyborg crime-fighter hits the streets to protect the innocent this time from coporate greed!

When the ruthless corporation that runs Motor City begins kicking families out of their homes to clear space for a profitable new real estate project, Robocop (Robert John Burke, Copland) joins forces with a renegade band offreedom fighters to save them.
But Robocop must face some deadly foes, including a lethally efficient android and a dangerous gang of thugs. Robocop's latest arsenal of high-tech weaponry only somewhat evens the battlefield as this one lone superhero takes on the entire army of corporate militia inan all-out war to control Detroit!
