'The Crazies' director Breck Eisner and cast at fan event in Burbank, June 29

On June 29th, at Dark Delicacies Bookstore in Burbank, horror film fans can meet up with the creatives behind Overture Films' The Crazies, their remake of George A. Romero's classic from 1973 directed by Breck Eisner.

The story revolves around the inhabitants of a small Kansas town who are beset by death and insanity after a plane crash lets loose a secret biological weapon into the water supply.

Starring Timothy Olyphant and Radha Mitchell, the film was released last September 2009.

Now you can talk to director Breck Eisner, writer Scott Kosar, and cast members of Anchor Bay Entertainment’s highly anticipated new DVD release "The Crazies."

They will be greeting fans and signing DVD copies on Tuesday, April 29th at Burbank’s famed Dark Delicacies bookstore.
