An injured gunfighter seeks redemption and pursues love in Angel and the Badman, from Barnholtz Entertainment and distributed by Lionsgate Entertainment.
The remake of Angel and the Badman stars Lou Diamond Phillips as Quirt Evans, a notorious gunfighter - critically wounded when a deal with fellow outlaws goes bad – takes shelter with a docile Quaker family.
As he heals, Quirt develops a growing attraction to Temperance (Deborah Kara Unger,the family’s beautiful, widowed daughter. As a result, the hardened man is transformed from a man of violence into a man of peace.
But his former partner, Laredo Stevens (Luke Perry), isn’t keen on letting Quirt slip away so quietly and easily.
Can Quirt embrace his passive new life or will his demons prevent him from letting the past die?
This film on DVD also features John Wayne’s grandson, Brendan Wayne.
Angel and the Badman is presented in anamorphic widescreen with an aspect ratio of 16 x 9 and either 5.1 surround sound or 2.0 stereo audio. Special features include behind-the-scenes bonus video, stills gallery and Spanish subtitles.
