When a violent thunderstorm unleashes an unnatural mist filled with flesh-seeking creatures, a group of townspeople trapped in the local market ban together in their fight to stay alive. With visibility near zero and creatures unlike anything ever before seen, the group quickly realize that the true danger isn’t on the outside, it’s within each of their souls.
Featuring an exclusive black and white presentation of the film in addition to the theatrical version, eight deleted scenes, a collectible booklet with written commentary by Frank Darabont and much more, The Mist – Two Disc Collector’s Edition DVD will be available for the suggested retail price of $32.95. Additionally, a single disc DVD of the theatrical version of the film will also be available for $29.95.
Synopsis:
David Drayton (Jane) and his young son are among a large group of terrified townspeople trapped in a local grocery store by a strange, otherworldly mist. David is the first to realize that there are things lurking in the mist, creatures not of this world, that force David and the hostages to band together in a fight for survival.
However he begins to wonder what terrifies him more: the monsters in the mist or the ones inside the store, the human kind, the people that until now have been his friends and neighbors?
