The Hottest State debuts on DVD in December

Adapted and directed by two-time Academy Award nominee Ethan Hawke (Best Supporting Actor, Training Day, 2002; Best Adapted Screenplay, Before Sunset, 2004) from his novel of the same name, The Hottest State debuts on DVD December 4 from THINKFilm.

Featuring an all-star cast, including Mark Webber (Broken Flowers, Upcoming: The Good Life), Academy Award nominee Catalina Sandino Moreno (Best Actress, Maria Full of Grace, 2005), two-time Best Actress Academy Award nominee Laura Linney (You Can Count on Me, 2001; Kinsey, 2005), Academy Award nominee Michelle Williams (Best Supporting Actress, Brokeback Mountain, 2006), Sonia Braga (Kiss of the Spider Woman, “Sex and the City”), and Ethan Hawke, The Hottest State is a bittersweet romance that distills the joy, pain, erotic highs, and emotional lows of first love. Bonus features include deleted scenes, and an original short film and filmmaker commentary by Ethan Hawke.
