Garnering two Golden Globe nominations for his outstanding performance, Jason Lee (Chasing Amy, Vanilla Sky, Clerks II) stars as Earl, a ne’er-do-well simpleton whose continued attempts to correct his wrong-doin’ past – all thanks to a twist of fate involving a lost lottery ticket and a car accident – thrusts his life into a comical tailspin of life-renewing events.

Synopsis:
Doing the right thing isn’t always easy. Just ask Earl Hickey (Lee), a recovering ne’er-do-well with a lifetime’s worth of dirty deeds to make up for.  In order to turn his life around, Earl needs a G.E.D., a job, an apartment and a whole lot of good karma.  And, if he can keep his ex-wife out of prison, so much the better!
