Golden Globe winner Gillian Anderson stars in Closure

A couple exacts their revenge after being brutally assaulted by a group of hunters in the nerve-frying Closure, available September 18th, on DVD from Sony Home Pictures Entertainment for the suggested retail price of $24.96.

Golden Globe winner Gillian Anderson (TV’s X-Files, The Last King of Scotland) and Danny Dyer (Human Traffic) star in this terrifying and intensely disturbing new thriller.  Everyone has their breaking point – the tables are viciously turned when Alice (Anderson) uncovers the identity of their attackers and leads Adam (Dyer) on a dark and twisted path of revenge.

Synopsis:
Anderson stars in this dark thriller about a couple that seeks revenge after surviving a violent attack.  Driving back from a posh party at a country estate, Alice (Anderson) and Adam (Danny Dyer, Human Traffic) find themselves brutally assaulted by a group of hunters, leaving them emotionally and physically scarred. A chance encounter leads Alice to the identity of their attackers and she convinces Adam that they must exact revenge.

Adam, at first the voice of reason, eventually allows Alice to lead him down the path of vengeance and the consequences are savage and brutal.  A dark and intensely disturbing thriller, Closure exudes moments of eroticism fused with barbaric events that lead Alice and Adam into a spiral of violence for the sake of their own self-preservation. Closure is written and directed by Dan Reed (Terror in Moscow, The Valley), produced by Kevin Loader and Damien Jones (The History Boys), and stars Gillian Anderson and Danny Dyer.

Closure is now available for pre-order at Amazon. As of yet, there is not a release date for the UK. Visit the DVD database for more information.

It's 'Straightheads' and this is the US version of it. 'Straightheads' HAS an UK release date; 24 September. See this movie! In spite of somewhat dismal reviews, it is a very interesting film. Gillian Anderson is fantastic in it.
