A rash of burglaries weaves a tangled web that ensnares a group of unlikely bed-fellows, unlocking secret passions that threaten to unravel the lives of everyone involved. Breaking and Entering is the first original screenplay from Oscar-winner Anthony Minghella (Best Director, The English Patient, 1996, Cold Mountain) since his 1991 feature debut Truly Madly Deeply and reunites Academy Award winner Juliette Binoche (Best Supporting Actress, The English Patient) and two-time Oscar nominee Jude Law (Cold Mountain, The Talented Mr. Ripley) with the acclaimed filmmaker.
The film also features powerhouse performances from Robin Wright Penn (White Oleander, Message In A Bottle) and newcomer Rafi Gavron, who along with Binoche garnered nominations from the British Independent Film Awards for their roles.
