Donnie Brasco gets 20 more minutes back in new “Extended Cut” DVD

From acclaimed director Mike Newell (Harry Potter & The Goblet Of Fire, Four Weddings and a Funeral), the gangster classic Donnie Brasco, starring Al Pacino (The Recruit, The Godfather I & II) and Johnny Depp (Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, Sleepy Hollow), returns in an all-new extended cut edition with 20 minutes of never-before-seen footage added back into the film. The DVD arrived on May 8th from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment with the suggested retail price of $19.94. Originally released theatrically in 1997, Donnie Brasco opened to critical acclaim, went on to gross over $41 million at the box office and was nominated for numerous awards.
