Academy Award nominee Curse of the Golden Flower (2006, Achievement in Costume Design) will arrive on DVD & PSP on March 27th for the suggested retail price of $28.95. Directed by Academy Award nominated director Zhang Yimou (2002 Hero, 1991 Raise the Red Lantern), this Sony Pictures Classics film stars Chow Yun Fat (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) and Gong Li (Memoirs of a Geisha).
Curse of the Golden Flower is Zhang Yimou’s most ambitious film to date. Working with his frequent collaborators, cinematographer Zhao Xiaoding (House of Flying Daggers) and production designer Huo Tingxiao (House of Flying Daggers, Hero) as well as Oscar nominated costume designer Yee Chung Man, Zhang Yimou has created an extravagant action story of love and betrayal.
