Discover an obsession only found on the beaches of Haiti as Genius Products present the critically acclaimed feature from director Laurent Cantet (Human Resources, Time Out) - Heading South (Vers la Sud) on DVD February 6th for the suggested retail price of $29.95.
A selection at the 2005 Venice Film Festival, Heading South was nominated for the Golden Lion Award and Cinema for Peace Award. In addition, Ménothy Cesar earned the Marcello Mastroianni Award for his breakout performance in the film.
The film follows three middle-aged women on holiday as they converge at a Haitian resort to soak up the sun and sample the handsome young islanders' sexual talents in this well-crafted film set in 1978.
Disillusioned with - and unsatisfied by - the men at home, Wellesley professor Ellen played by Charlotte Rampling (Basic Instinct 2, Immortal), willowy divorcee Brenda (Karen Young) and spirited Canadian Sue (Louise Portal) soon find themselves competing for the virile Legba (Menothy Cesar) in this provocative paradise.

Heading South is now available for pre-order at Amazon. It is now available at AmazonUK. Visit the DVD database for more information.
