After twenty years in limbo, Pumpkinhead has finally returned to settle the score. Back with a vengeance, he goes on a killing rampage murdering everyone responsible for his desecration.
From Sony Pictures Home Entertainment comes the third installment in the horrifying Pumpkinhead franchise, Pumpkinhead Ashes to Ashes on DVD shelves March 27th for the suggested retail price of $24.96.
Horror icon Doug Bradley (Hellraiser: Hellworld, Hellraiser: Deader) plays Doc Frasier, an eccentric small-town physician who has a side business in the unauthorized harvesting of organs. Actor Lance Henriksen (Alien vs. Predator, Scream 3) reprises his role from the first film as the ghost of Ed Harley, who is back from the dead to warn the townspeople about Pumpkinhead’s demonic plans. The film co-stars Lynne Verrall, (TV’s “Doctors,” A Kind of Hush) and Douglas Roberts (TV’s “The Shield,” TV’s “The Division”).
In Pumpkinhead Ashes to Ashes, Doc (Bradley) is the chief medical physician of a backwoods town, as well as the head of its mortuary and crematorium. What the townspeople don’t know is that he’s a liar and a cheat and is using the organs of the dead to sell on the black market. A few townspeople discover his scheme when they find the corpses of their loved ones piled in a barn.
Overcome with anger, the townsfolk track down the old witch Haggis (Verrall), who instructs them on how to resurrect Pumpkinhead, the Demon of Vengeance. They bind their souls to Pumpkinhead, unleashing the beast on all those responsible.
After twenty years in limbo, Pumpkinhead has finally returned to settle the score. Back with a vengeance, he goes on a killing rampage murdering everyone responsible for his desecration. As the demon kills more people, each of the people who brought it back to life share in the pain and the closer Pumpkinhead gets to completing its task, the more the townsfolk lose their souls.
