When I was around six years old, I sang the story of this book to my father. I don't know why? He loved the story, and the song. It is really one of my nicest memories. I recently was able to see the movie for the first time in twenty years, and loved it as much as I did as a kid.

I remember watching The Last Unicorn when i was about 5 years old. It was one of my favorites. I watched it so much that I knew every word and every song. I drove my parents nuts! Since I had this movie on VHS, it was very difficult to try to watch over the years. I was able to get it to play for my daughter, who is 5 years old. She loved every minute. One day we were at Wal-Mart and she saw the 25th anniversary on DVD and begged me to get it for her. Being such a fan of it when I was young, I couldn't resist. Over the last year, she has watched it at least 3 or 4 times a month. Sometimes I'll sit down with her and watch it. I never realized for a long time that America did the soundtrack, and I've always been a fan of their music. My daughter knows all the words and sings along to every song when she watches The Last Unicorn.
