Can best friends become lovers without ruining their relationship? That’s the age-old question posed by the hilarious ‘90s workplace comedy “Anything But Love,” the critically-acclaimed, Emmy-nominated sitcom debuting on three-disc DVD February 6th from Fox Home Entertainment for the suggested retail price of $39.98.
Starring Hollywood leading lady Jamie Lee Curtis (A Fish Called Wanda, True Lies) in her Golden Globe-winning role as Hannah Miller and the ever-popular comedian Richard Lewis (“Curb Your Enthusiasm”) as Marty Gold, the series follows the futile attempts of two feisty magazine co-workers to ignore their mutual attraction and safeguard their longstanding friendship.
The hilarious cast is rounded out by renowned performing artist and character actress Ann Magnuson (Making Mr. Right, Small Soldiers) as the magazine’s editor. Executive produced by comedy legend John Ritter, “Anything But Love” is a smart and irreverent comedy that sparkles with witty repartee and a “will they / won’t they” premise that highlights the undeniable and irrepressible comedic and romantic chemistry of Curtis and Lewis.
The DVD set contains 28 episodes spanning the first two seasons which aired on ABC. The episodes are presented in full-frame (aspect ratio 1.33:1) with English Stereo Spanish subtitles. The set also includes the unaired pilot episode along with two featurettes featuring all-new on-camera interviews with Curtis and Lewis together.
