Sex-symbol Pamela Anderson hits DVD with Stacked

“Stacked” revolves around beautiful Skyler Dayton (Anderson), who is tired of her non-stop partying lifestyle and bad choices in boyfriends.

You can’t judge a book by its cover – especially when it’s only covered by a miniskirt and a baby-tee!  From creator Steven Levitan (“Just Shoot Me!”), “Stacked” is the sexy workplace comedy series starring blonde bombshell Pamela Anderson (“Baywatch,” “VIP”) as a free-spirited party girl who takes a job at a small bookstore in the hope of finding stability in her wild lifestyle and determined to prove she has ample talent beyond her ample talents. 

Available December 12th from Fox Home Entertainment, “Stacked: The Complete Series” three-disc DVD set includes all 14 original episodes from Seasons 1 & 2 plus five never-before-seen unaired episodes, along with hilarious bloopers and two humorous featurettes – “Nipplegate: Getting Dressed with Pam” and “Skyler’s Guide to Dating.” The DVD set will be available for a suggested retail price of $29.98.

Featuring an amusing ensemble cast including Emmy Award-winner Christopher Lloyd (“Taxi,” Back to the Future) and Tony Award-winner Marissa Jaret Winokur (“Hairspray”), “Stacked” also featured several appealing guest stars such as Carmen Electra, Jenny McCarthy and Kid Rock.

 “Stacked” revolves around beautiful Skyler Dayton (Anderson), who is tired of her non-stop partying lifestyle and bad choices in boyfriends.  Wanting a major life change, she lands a job at Stacked Books, a small, family-run bookstore owned by Gavin Miller (Elon Gold) and his brother, Stuart (Brian Scolaro), as the first step in her quest for a steadier lifestyle.

Divorced and unlucky in love himself, Gavin’s inclined to regard Skyler as an embodiment of the vacuous, image-obsessed culture he has come to abhor.  Stuart, however, is dazzled by Skyler’s beauty.  Unhappy that she’s minding the till next to such an intimidating bombshell is the store’s sole other employee, hapless Katrina (Winokur), who doles out doses of realism and cynicism.  Rounding out the characters is the store’s one steady customer, Harold March (Lloyd), a preeminent but retired rocket scientist.

Episodes of “Stacked” are presented in widescreen (1.78:1 aspect ratio) and feature English and Spanish Dolby Surround sound as well as English and Spanish subtitles.
