The pack is back for more pre-hysterics when Ice Age: The Meltdown, the $634 million worldwide smash hit sequel to the family favorite Ice Age, heats up DVD in time for Christmas shopping. Thawing out on DVD on November 21st the DVD will be available for the suggested retail price of $29.98.
The hilarious pre-historical adventure delighted viewers of all ages, reuniting the beloved characters from the original film – voiced by Ray Romano (“Everybody Loves Raymond”), John Leguizamo (Moulin Rouge) and Denis Leary (“Rescue Me”) – and teaming them with an uproarious new group of friends, voiced by Academy Award-nominee Queen Latifah (Chicago), Seann William Scott (The Dukes Of Hazzard) and Josh Peck (“Drake & Josh”).
The action heats up - and so does the temperature - for Manny, Sid, Diego and Scrat. Trying to escape the valley to avoid a flood of trouble, the comical creatures embark on a hilarious journey across the thawing landscape and meet Ellie, a female woolly mammoth who melts Manny’s heart. The DVD is loaded with super-cool bonus features including an exclusively produced never-before-seen CGI animated short following the comical misadventures of the lovable breakout character Scrat.
