Supernatural thriller The Woods comes to DVD in time for Halloween

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced it will release the supernatural thriller The Woods on DVD October 3 with the suggested retail price of $24.96.

The Woods stars horror film legend Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead, Army of Darkness), Patricia Clarkson (Good Night, and Good Luck) and Agnes Bruckner (Murder By Numbers) in a chilling tale of an all-girls private school located in the center of a forest. A teenage student at the school must deal with a series of mysterious events under the watchful eye of her evil headmistress, all while trying to figure out the dark secrets that lurk deep within the forest of Falburn Academy. Haunted by voices from the woods, new student Heather (Bruckner) knows there’s something out there—and it’s coming for her. When Heather’s classmates begin mysteriously disappearing she uncovers a horrifying secret. The DVD is will be presented in 2.35 widescreen and 1.33 fullscreen.More details have not been released yet. Check back to M&C for more information as the release date approaches.
