The family comedy RV arrives on DVD, Blu-ray and UMD August 15th

This summer, brace yourself for a family road-trip you will never forget as Sony Pictures Home Entertainment releases the $67.2 million blockbuster comedy RV on DVD (on Widescreen and Fullscreen), Blu-Ray, and UMD August 15th for the suggested retail price of $28.95 on DVD and UMD, and $38.95 on Blu-ray.

From acclaimed director, Barry Sonnenfeld (Men in Black, Get Shorty), RV stars one of the greatest comedic actors of our time - Oscar winner Robin Williams (Good Will Hunting, Jumanji) and features an all-star cast including Jeff Daniels (Dumb and Dumber), Cheryl Hines (Herbie: Fully Loaded), Tony Award winner Kristin Chenoweth (The Pink Panther), teen multi-platinum recording star Joanna “JoJo” Levesque (Aquamarine), and Josh Hutcherson (Zathura) in a fun adventure-comedy for the whole family! RV follows an overworked executive, Bob Munro (Robin Williams) who persuades his wife and children to give up their Hawaiian vacation for some “family bonding” on a cross-country RV trip. But it’s all a ruse. Bob has other, more career-oriented reasons on his mind than spending quality time with his family in the Rocky Mountains. Through a series of misadventures, including constant run-ins with an overly friendly troupe of full-time RV’ers, Bob inadvertently learns the true meaning of family.
