Touchstone Home Entertainment will heat up DVD on April 25th with the release of the scandalously funny romantic adventure Casanova for a suggested retail price of $29.99.

The movie stars Heath Ledger (“Brokeback Mountain”) as the world’s most famous seducer and was directed by Lasse Hallström (director of “Chocolat” and “The Cider House Rules”). It boasts an all-star cast in a deliciously seductive, fast-paced and rousing story of one of the world’s most legendary figures.

After a lifetime of women falling head over heels in love with him, the world’s legendary ladies’ man (Ledger) meets the love of his life — the one woman who thinks he’s a total heel. Comic chaos ensues in a hilarious whirl of misadventures, disguises and mistaken identities as the love-struck Casanova tries to win the heart of the fiery feminist who wants nothing to do with the man she thinks he is.
