I just wonder if I might have the national record for going to see Brokeback Mountain the most times one the big screen. (almost 30 times). Anyone who has info on this please email me @ gesurvivor@yahoo.com. I understand about everything their is to know about the film. My conclusion after such a study? Either one likes movies like this one or they dont. Either one likes a movie like Crash or they dont. Perhaps we 'see' what we feel and have lived. One relates to this one relates to that. I think I understand the critics. I also think I understand the beauty how Lee made the movie flow. I also am wondering why Annie is near invisable these days. Does this woman know more about how she came up with the storey than she is privately saying? Could there possibly be a living here in this world 'Ennis' who this movie and storey was based on? Anne did say she got the idea while in some bar out west about someone who looked like a 'country gay'. Is their more to the story? Was their a real Jack and Ennis the storey was based on? Also, Heath said he didn't want to kiss Jake in the filming. I respect that and understand. I hadn't a clue who he was until this movie came out. I must admitt he is a good actor. I don't drool over the dude but I am in awe at how, to me, this dude comes from out of nowhere (ok, Australia) knows who he is, what he apparently wants (Michelle and kids) gets world famous and wealthy at 26 and for all that, someone like my miserable self has to stand back in awe.

Nice to meet you Ennis Del Mar.

I agree, BBM is a masterpiece. Do you know if any books are being published about the film?

You can email me directly at engineeleven@aol.com

Also I'd love to know how the sales were for the DVD and will there be a Special Edition???
