Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and the Jim Henson Company bring you the DVD release of MirrorMask - a spellbinding film that embarks on a journey into a land of floating giants, monkeybirds and dangerous sphinxes – on DVD Feb. 14th for the suggested retail price of $28.95.
Written by renowned comic book and fantasy writer Neil Gaiman (Sandman, Neverwhere) and directed by famed illustrator Dave McKean (Cages, The Wolves in the Walls), Mirror Mask follows in the tradition of the sci-fi classics Labyrinth and Dark Crystal.
The film follows the story of Helena, who works for the family circus, and wishes she could run away and join real life. But such is not to be the case, as she finds herself on a strange journey into the Dark Lands – a fantastic landscape. Helena searches for the MirrorMask - an object of enormous power that is her only hope of escaping the Dark Lands, waking the Queen of Light and returning home.
