DVD - Mickey
Connick (Will & Grace, Independence Day) plays Tripp Spence, a Virginia widower whose financial woes lead him to relocate with his son and assume new identities while dodging the IRS. His thirteen year old son, Derrick (Salinas) is a skilled Little League pitcher who’s forced to give up baseball as the two flee to Las Vegas. Derrick’s new identity as “Mickey” makes him a year younger and eligible to play in the Vegas league as a 12 year old.
Father and son believe the fraud will end with the final game of the regular season, but neither could have ever imagined Mickey’s dream season as he leads the Las Vegas league all-stars to the pinnacle of youth sports: the Little League Baseball World Series!
