What can I say about 'Halloween'? I'm not much of a gore fan as I am a scary movie fan, but something about a young boy who grows up into a masked killer and terrorizes a small town in Illinois makes up for the gore factor that I like the series. I like the first five films (haven't seen the rest or the new 2007 film yet) of the 'Halloween' series, though the 3rd film didn't quite go with the other films. Four and Five are my two favorites of the first five films. There's something especially creepy about a young girl getting chased by her own uncle, who's intending to kill her. Don't worry, he doesn't kill her, though he does hurt her. However, in the fourth film, there's a scene where some kids at school tease Jamie Lyodd (Danielle Harris plays her) and I can't help but want those kids to be targetted by Michael Myers. You know what would have been cool? What if, as the kids teased Jamie, she turned around and beat the (expletive) out of them? Or, what if Michael was there to pick her up and threatened the other kids with his infamous kitchen knife to make them stop picking on Jamie? Not to kill them, just to scare them and make them stop teasing her. Either way would have been cool if they had showed that in the film. How about them apples?
