An American family moves to Spain to reside in their family estate. Regina (Anna Paquin), the teenage daughter, feels there’s something wrong with the old house and her little brother is beginning to experience supernatural events. But her parents believe it’s just the stress of the move and ignore Regina’s pleas to leave. Stranger and stranger things start to happen as the eclipse of the sun, a phenomenon that happens every 40 years, gets closer. Regina realizes the eclipse will put them in total darkness and leave them vulnerable to the evil that resides in their home.
