With their eighteenth birthdays fast approaching Laranjinha sets out to find the father he never met while Acerola struggles to raise his own young son. But when they suddenly find themselves on opposite sides of a gang war the lifelong friends are forced to confront a shocking secret from their shared past. I am looking forward to this movie, given the great movies out of Brazil and/or on Brazil, like City of God,Bus 174, Amores Perros,or the Crime of Padre Amero, among others supspect this movie may be similiar in Nature to Favela Rising as I tend to watch anything from or about that region they come with a totally different perspective in terms of what to expect from a film.
