I really enjoyed it, but I really liked the book. It was really close to the book, but I agree it is slow in several parts.

I felt this movie never launched. It was bland in dialog, plot and characters. Zellwinger was not the best choice for her character. The relationship between Cole and Hitch was honestly too sappy for me.
I kept waiting for 'something' to happen to get the story revved up, put to no avail.
It wasn't an awful movie, but not worth a second watch.
