It's the year of 1943. All ranks of professional male beaseball players are being send to war, to mitigate that absence a group of women leave their houses and their domestic activities to become part of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League and keep baseball alive while the nation goes through hard times. Dottie Hinson is one of the most gifted players and at the same time has to deal with her conflicting sister Kit. Jimmy Dugan is a former baseball player who had to quit because of a serious injury, besides he's an alcoholic, but now he's in charge of the team and eventually he will lead them to success. A fun, dramatic and beautiful american story.
