Don’t expect Guns N’ Roses to deliver ‘Chinese Democracy’ on March 6th

It looks like fans are going to have to continue to wait for Guns N’ Roses long delayed new studio album ‘Chinese Democracy’ after a posting on the band’s website confirmed that no “official” release date has been set.

The album was rumored to be coming out on March 6th, but it looks like Axl Rose and the rest of his new version of Guns N’ Roses aren’t finished with the album just yet – even though it has been in production for about a decade now.

The official Guns N’ Roses website posted a message stating “there is no official release date, as the band is currently mixing, but after some delays and scheduling difficulties, things appear to be moving along.”

The album was expected to be released, and some tracks (such as “Better”) have even been leaked onto the Internet. Rose, the only remaining original member of the band, has been touring since 2006, and some shows have even seen appearances from former Guns guitarist Izzy Stradlin – which helped fuel reunion rumors.
